Personality, model, and non-binary advocate Milan Garçon took to Fox 29 Philadelphia, where she formally interned, to share her journey exploring what gender presentation means to her. Watch here.
Milan: It wasn’t until I was in college that I started to explore my gender, and explore what gender presentation meant, and started to really find peoepl that looked like me. I was starting to come to work at the internship — as you all would remember — I would wear a lash and I would wear makeup…
Alex Holley: I wanted tips.
Milan: Alex, I remember we would always talk lash tips! We both loved lashes so much. It as really my experience working at Fox 29 that made me know and comfortable with being myself. And knowing that I could be authentically and unapologitcally myself, and present as non binary before it was the thing to do.
