Well, this is awesome: the first couture show from @pyermoss will be streamed from Villa Lewaro, the Hudson River estate built by Madame C.J. Walker (beauty mogul/America's first self-made female millionaire), that was a gathering place for leaders of the Harlem renaissance.
This news is almost two weeks old, a small detail printed in a Guardian story on fashion’s return to catwalks. It was initially tweeted by New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman and then arrived as a screenshot on Pyer Moss founder Kerby John-Raymond’s Instagram, which is where and when the news really took off.
