I love Janet and Tupac in this scene it was so very intimate and showed a vulnerability between the two that showed they had chemistry. I have always been a fan and love Janet, and she's always been so humble and so sweet and has never taken all the credit for her achievement but has said man, many times how blessed she is. My only thing with this article and people in general is why does beyonce's name have to be brought into the conversation when it's not about her. It's never about her. I would've expected a mention of Regina King than beyonce since Regina was in the film and wore braids too... since it's about Poetic Justice and Janet.
What an incredible close read: I loved the weaving (😉) of the cultural and personal.
Love love love. <3

I love this read and focus on a detail I have never noticed in a beloved movie of my adolescence. Time for a rewatch!
